PEAK RESOURCES - CHERRYVILLE

As a member of the Gaston county healthcare community, Peak Resources - Cherryville has always been committed to providing quality healthcare. In 1999 we were proud to join the Peak Resources Inc. family and continue our valued traditions of service. We are a small combination rehabilitation, nursing, and assisted living facility with 54 nursing beds and 57 assisted living beds. We provide a broad spectrum of 24-hour nursing services such as:

• Therapeutic Activities
• Assisted Living
• Hospice Care
• Late Stage Alzheimer's Care (We do not provide care for persons requiring a secure unit.)

Our Medicare-certified facility is designed not only for those who have complex medical conditions but also for those who are recovering from surgery or illness. By offering such a comprehensive rehabilitation program we can help each patient make a more complete recovery.

REHABILITATIVE CARE:

We offer extensive rehabilitation therapy services. Our residents may need rehabilitation therapy following surgery, accidents, or illness. It is the goal of our therapists to assist each resident to regain the highest level of functional independence.

• Physical Therapy - helps residents build strength and improve mobility.
• Occupational Therapy - helps residents regain independence with dressing, bathing, and feeding themselves.
• Speech Therapy - may allow residents to communicate and regain functional swallowing abilities.
